Fort Makers: Where the Wild Things Are

These beautiful prints are painted by Nana Spears in Brooklyn, NY, with a group of artist so talented and whimsical they specialize in fort building. The team started the collaborative art project, "Fort Makers" in 2008, and hail from small towns where fort-making is standard fare for youths. Now, fully grown and submerged in the art and design world of NYC, these creative Brooklynites produce original pieces palatable by all walks of life: clothing, scarves, and blankets.
